Buying a ring online can be a tricky endeavor- especially if you don’t know your ring size! In many cases, you see the ring of your dreams; you order it and wait in anticipation of its arrival, only to find out that it doesn’t fit.  You call the jeweler, and of course he offers to resize the ring, but that involves unnecessary trips to the post office and a whole lot of waiting.

A ring should easily slip past your knuckle and fit snugly at the base of your finger. When you try to pull it off, it should slightly tug as it slips past your knuckle. If it slips off too easily past your knuckle, it is likely the ring will fall off if you’re not paying attention, which is never a good thing!

When you receive a ring that doesn’t fit, it can be a hassle to get it resized. Wrapping the ring back up, taking it to the post office, mailing it, waiting for it to get there, waiting for it to be resized, and then finally waiting for the return of your beloved ring –basically a lot of wasted time for both you and the jeweler.
