Hublot Company History:

Hublot was founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco. Carlo Crocco grew up in an Italian family of watch makers and in 1980 he set up his company MDM Geneva. He wanted to create elegant yet sporty timepieces. When he designed the first Hublot, the case was gold on a rubber strap. The rubber strap was the first natural rubber strap made in watch making history. It was researched for three years before the strap was created. Hublot was able to extend its range in collections, featuring sports complications and limited edition watches. Hublot sponsored the football club Manchester United in 2008 worth 6.2 million dollars a year.
