My name is Antonella Diaz and I have been part of the Gray and Sons team since September 2018. In my senior year of high school, I was offered the opportunity to intern at Gray and Sons Jewelers and that opportunity has allowed me to learn and grow in ways unimaginable. Being as I was barely a young adult when I first started, I had never worked at any other establishment so I knew this would be the learning experience I needed to succeed. Before working at Gray and Sons, I was lacking customer service skills, leadership skills, confidence, negotiating skills, and the list goes on. What many people don’t know about Gray and Sons is that every single one of our services is done in-house. We not only sell watches and jewelry, but we also buy them from the public, take them in on consignment, and take them in for repairs, cleaning, and polishing. We even have our marketing team in-house taking pictures of every item that comes in and editing them for the next issue of our monthly catalog. This means, that when one takes upon an internship at Gray and Sons Jewelers, you will not only be in the showroom selling jewelry, you will get a taste of what running a 9-million-dollar inventory organization takes.

My Name is Camila Pinzon and I have worked at Gray & Sons for about a month now, I found GS through my school teacher who posted on the class page that they were hiring. I chose Gray & Sons because I liked the working environment and the opportunity to gain experience in watches and jewelry and the challenge it entailed. This experience at Gray & Sons contributes to my life because it teaches me important life skills like communication and reasoning as well as other things that will contribute to my life in the future. In life, I am hoping to achieve a successful career after college and be an overall well-rounded successful happy person.
