The G&S Certified Preowned Advantage 

You would never know any of our certified watches were pre-owned unless we told you. Our master-trained, professional watchmakers conduct a thorough, five-step, restoration process. We inspect and certify that every timepiece has an accurately functioning movement and has a like-new polished case and bracelet.

1. Every watch is disassembled, down to the very last screw.
2. Every movement is meticulously overhauled, using new parts where necessary. Mechanical movements are lubricated; quartz movements are fitted with new batteries.
3. Cases and bracelets are sent to our detailing/polishing lab, where all scratches are removed and where each case and bracelet is steam cleaned and polished, to its original look, when it left its manufacturer.
4. Each fine timepiece is reassembled, undergoing additional quality controls and testing, during and after reassembly.
5. Every water-resistant timepiece is tested to ensure for water resistance.

The G&S International Guarantee 

Every fine timepiece or article of jewelry, purchased at Gray & Sons, is accompanied by a Receipt of Certified Pre-Owned and Valuation Report. 

Every Rolex watch is unconditionally guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship in the mechanism for two full years after the date of purchase. All other manufacturers' mechanisms are unconditionally guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for one full year after the date of purchase, unless otherwise specifically indicated in the terms of sale. 

In addition Gray & Sons offers something no one else in the world offers: our exclusive "Like New for Life Policy".

Like New for Life Policy 

We want our clients to be happy with their certified pre-owned fine timepieces, for many years to come.

We make the extra effort through our Like New for Life Policy, a special, FREE program. Compare our Like New for Life Policy to the practices of the watch manufacturers, who usually charge from $150 to $600, PER OCCURRENCE, for this same service!

With our Like New for Life Policy, we provide FREE annual polishing, detailing, pressure testing, and battery replacement (as needed) for as long as you own your watch, for any certified pre-owned timepiece purchase of $2,000 or more. This benefit is not transferable. To maintain this valuable and unique benefit, have Gray & Sons clean your timepiece and perform a "lubrication overhaul" every 36 months or sooner for a nominal charge.

Normal wear is to be expected. At your request, crystals, crowns, gaskets, deep nicks, dents, and bracelet stretching can be repaired or replaced for an additional charge.

Return Privilege 

All Gray & Sons Certified Pre-Owned fine timepieces and jewelry items are available on a 10 day "no questions asked" return policy when bought over the phone or internet. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our products, simply contact us within 10 days of delivery for a prompt and courteous exchange, refund, or applicable store-credit, whichever you prefer. This policy does not apply to in-store purchases. 

PLEASE NOTE:

• It is the customer's responsibility to return the item safely, insured, and at their own risk and expense. Returns must be shipped fully trackable and insured for the full purchase price for the entire transit, and packaged securely in the original packaging inside a plain outer box with no reference to the contents or to Gray & Sons on the exterior.
• Risk of loss during return transit remains with the customer until we receive and accept the item. If a return is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, the customer is responsible for filing the claim with the carrier and insurer. Gray & Sons is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged before they reach us.
• For the protection of both the customer and Gray & Sons, every returned package is opened, inspected, and recorded on video under continuous camera surveillance from the moment it arrives. Each item is examined by our in-house watchmakers and gemologists and verified against the original sale record, including serial and reference numbers, weight, and identifying characteristics, to confirm it is the same item, in the same condition, in which it was shipped.
• A refund may be reduced or declined if the returned item shows signs of wear, sizing, alteration, damage, or repair after delivery; and if applicable: is missing its original boxes, papers, certificates, tags, links, straps, or accessories; or does not match the item originally shipped.
• All unused watches and special-orders, including but not limited to items not in stock, are non-refundable and require a 30% deposit by check or bank wire.
• A 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returns on purchases made through Affirm financing, due to non-refundable transaction fees charged to us by the vendor.
• A 3% restocking fee will be applied to PayPal transactions and all credit card transactions, including MasterCard, American Express, and Visa, to cover non-refundable transaction fees imposed by the payment processors.
• Once a return is received, recorded, and approved through inspection, refunds are issued to the original method of payment within 5 business days (or sooner), less any applicable restocking fee.
   

Sales Tax 

Any item sold within the state of Florida is subject to 7% sales tax. Please be advised that while items sold to customers outside of the state of Florida are exempt from Florida Sales & Use Tax, in most cases customers are responsible for Sales & Use Tax in their home state and federal law now requires us to collect it.
