Vintage Rolex Datejust "Ovittone" in 18k yellow gold on a crocodile strap w/ gold plated Rolex buckle. Auto w/ sweep seconds and "Red" date. Applied faceted dagger numerals. Circa 1953. Extremely rare: Factory changed case number ref #6105 (Rolex put lines through it) to ref #6155 (restamped by Rolex). Rolex, after finding that their non-screwdown "Super Oyster Crown" system was inferior to the Screwdown Crown system that they had been using with their automatic watches in the 1930's & 1940's, went back to this Oyster patented screw down system in the later part of 1953. **Bank Wire Only at this Price** Fine Pre-owned Rolex Watch.
