Customized antique Patek Philippe pocket watch movement converted and reborn as a wrist watch. Large 55 mm unsigned modern stainless steel case (manufactured outside the Patek Factory) features articulating lugs and a full sapphire case back to showcase the original gilt manual wind pocket watch movement with its swan neck regulator and the Patek Philippe signature. At 19 mm thick and 55 mm diameter this is a big watch meant for a big wrist. The white dial features large Roman numerals and smaller red Arabic numerals to indicate the PM 24 hour time. As indicated on the dial this watch was originally produced as part of the Chronometro Gondolo line for Gondolo & Labrouriau, the famous Rio de Janeiro jeweler in Brazil during the early years of the 20th Century. The name of the retailer is in script at 12 o'clock "Mediens". Based on the movement number this movement was original produced in 1910.
