Our Patek Philippe Collections
Another big name in the industry is Patek Philippe, also for good reason. A nearly 200 year old reputation continues to communicate nothing but the highest degree of quality and, importantly, precision. Stunning designs and attractive presentations are a hallmark of the Patek Philippe family, but even more emblematic is the watchmaker’s dedication to innovation and to precision. A used Patek Philippe watch is highly coveted not only for its luxury status, but also as evidence and example of the various timepiece complications the watchmaker has introduced into the industry. Our Patek Philippe complications include: Grand Complications, Complications.
Our Audemars Piguet Collections
Audemars Piguet is another name that is difficult to miss in the horology world. Among enthusiasts and connoisseurs, Audemars Piguet is considered the “cream of the crop,” and has been producing incredibly high quality and unmatched timepieces since 1875. Audemars Piguet is no stranger to innovation either, and in 1934, the watchmaker introduced its first ever skeleton pocket watch, a watch displaying the internal mechanisms of the timepiece. This eye-catching and iconic style can be found on a pre owned Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked. Our Audemars Piguet collections include:
Our Omega Collections
Shine and sophistication are key characteristics of Omega watches, but perhaps even more so is the extreme precision and durability of the timepieces—so much so, that Omega became the first watch to be worn on the Moon in 1969. In the cockpit or on your way to work, a pre owned Omega watch is a great investment that will have you feeling great and your wrist looking even better. Our Omega collections include:
Our Cartier Collections
Just as well known for their finely designed and expertly crafted rings and jewelry, Cartier is yet another big name watchmaker with more than enough to show for its fame. Founded in 1847, the Cartier family has been dedicated to producing intricately detailed and incomparably beautiful luxury watches and other fine jewelry. Their designs have changed little over the years, which signifies how timeless the name and timepieces are. When you purchase a pre owned Cartier watch, you know it’s a look that will stay in vogue for a long time. Our Cartier collections include:
Luxury Watch Complications
Complications are any sort of mechanism on a timepiece that tells more than just the time. Whether it be displaying the date or measuring elapsed seconds and minutes, these complications can be sought-out features for a variety of reasons. The careful and impeccable craftsmanship that goes into making these complex and precise mechanisms is something to appreciate on its own. Further, many iconic complications were created before we could fit computers on our wrists—or before computers were around at all. This makes many of these complications not only a feat of craftsmanship, but a feat of sheer ingenuity as well. Many of these mechanisms are on display in your favorite used Rolex and pre owned Audemars Piguet models, among many others. These complications include the following.
Minute repeater: The minute repeater is a mechanism that, through a series of gongs and levers, enables the watch to chime at regular intervals. This audible cue for time was first introduced by Audemars Piguet, and has been a classic mechanism in the industry ever since.
Annual Calendar: This complication allows watches to accurately display the month and day of each year, without needing to be manually adjusted during most of the year.
Perpetual calendar: Similar to the Annual Calendar, the Perpetual Calendar is a mechanism that displays the month and day of each year. However, while the Annual Calendar needs to be adjusted occasionally, the Perpetual Calendar does not need to be adjusted for leap years, keeping it automatically accurate, well, perpetually.
Tourbillon: Precision is a defining characteristic for many of the most iconic luxury watch models, and the Tourbillon is nothing if not a watchmaker’s love letter to precision. This complex mechanism counters the effects of gravity on the watch’s mechanics, which makes for incredibly accurate timekeeping.
Chronograph: This mechanism is nearly ubiquitous, but important and iconic nevertheless. The Chronograph is a complication that allows the wearer to measure elapsed time, and while computers perform this action in modern digital watches, the complication in mechanical watches is a reminder of the craftsmanship and ingenuity of the watchmaking discipline.
Skeletonization: One of the most iconic Audemars Piguet looks is the skeletonization feature. Although technically a style and not a complication, the skeletonization style allows watchmakers to truly display the careful craftsmanship of the timepiece mechanism. Skeletonization involves removing material from the watch’s movement in order to reveal the internal mechanisms of the watch, as seen on the Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked.
Buying a watch in the secondary market not only provides big savings but also presents a wider choice. Along with current references, our catalog of fine timepieces also includes vintage watches as well as limited edition, and recently discontinued models of Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, and others that cannot be found at authorized retail stores. In fact, we are a leading source of vintage watches in Miami. However, we are not limited to the Miami area—we ship to Houston, Chicago, Palm Beach, New York, Los Angeles and everywhere else around the United States and even select countries overseas.

The Gray & Sons Story
The Gray & Sons Story begins in South Florida. Take a walk through the world renowned Bal Harbour Shops in Miami Beach and look through the palm-tree-plastered scene of Harding Ave to catch a glimpse of our namesake’s storefront: the Gray & Sons Jewelers building. At first glance, it might not be a very special image, but the magic begins to appear when you walk inside. Brilliantly lit cases filled with sparkling jewelry and watches, and a collection the size you could only dream about. It quickly becomes clear that Gray & Sons is one of the largest purveyors of both new and pre owned watches in the world.
The business began in 1980 under the founding owner Keith Gray. With high and rising gold prices, people began selling their gold watches and jewelry, and Gray began buying. He quickly realized that he started welcoming some rather valuable pieces into his collection, and as this rare and valuable collection grew, so did the scope and idea for the business. Since then, restoration, trading, and selling of these valuable pieces turned into the Gray & Sons Jewelers business model, and Gray & Sons began to set itself apart from other sellers through its pristine customer service and its meticulous restoration work.
