This is a triple signed Vacheron Constantin WWI corps of engineers pocket watch made in European silver stamped 0.900 with large luminescent arabic numerals. Manual w/ subseconds and chronograph. 51.5 mm case size. With a 20 jewel movement and single button chronograph, stops and starts from the crown. This pocket watch was presented to Captain Clarence V.S. Mitchell who fought in the U.S. Army under General Pershing in the 151st infantry and 302nd machine gun batallion. He fought from 1917-1918 mainly in France and won the medal of distinction which is the second highest medal given in the U.S. Army at that time.
