Rare vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6240 in stainless steel, featuring a professionally refinished silver "Panda" dial with contrasting black subsidiary registers and luminous baton hour markers. Introduced circa 1965 and produced until approximately 1969, the historically important ref. 6240 was the first Daytona equipped with screw-down chronograph pushers, enhancing water resistance and laying the foundation for future generations of the iconic Rolex chronograph. The 37 mm Oyster case is complemented by a black acrylic tachymeter bezel exhibiting chips and scratches consistent with its vintage age. Powered by a manually wound Valjoux-based chronograph movement. Produced in fewer than 2,000 examples. Accompanied by two service papers dated 1987 and 1989. Fine Pre-owned Rolex Watch.
