Our service process is designed to preserve the integrity of this legendary watch while ensuring it continues to operate at the highest standard.
Rolex Repair Services
The Rolex Submariner 1680 is a highly collectable model produced from approximately 1966 to 1979, notable for being the first to feature a date function with a Cyclops lens. This model has variations in the dial which either had the meters first or the feet first. Early versions feature a red “Submariner” text on a black dial, known as the “Red” Submariner. Later models had white text, earning the nickname “White” Submariner. This particular watch has the meters first with the White Submariner text.

At our workshop we specialize in complete service and restoration for high-end timepieces, including Rolex Submariner 1680 models, as well as brands like Richard Mille and Patek Philippe. We service everything from simple movements to the most complicated mechanisms — tourbillons, minute repeaters, perpetual calendars, and grand complications.

Every watch begins with a thorough inspection at the time of receipt. We perform a full diagnostic, then carefully disassemble the movement so each wheel, barrel and component can be examined individually. All parts are cleaned in a professional ultrasonic cleaning machine with industry-grade solutions. Barrels and other assemblies are separated and inspected to ensure no hidden wear or damage.
After cleaning, the movement is reassembled and lubricated with the correct oils in the proper places. We test each watch on a timing machine and measure amplitude, rate and positional variation in five positions. We calculate the delta between positions to understand how many seconds per day the watch gains or loses, and we adjust the movement until it meets our accuracy standards.
Water resistance and sealing are also verified. Every service includes mainspring replacement and new gaskets; when necessary we replace crown tubes, crowns, or other external components — we take responsibility for the quality and longevity of our work. Each watch then undergoes pressure testing to confirm water resistance.

Our Rolex services are backed by a two-year warranty for your peace of mind. Servicing a watch is both a technical process and an art: we restore precision, reliability, and performance, giving the timepiece new life from the moment it arrives not working to the moment it leaves our workshop running flawlessly. Our goal is to ensure every customer enjoys their watch with complete confidence.

Whenever they need to repair or replace an individual component, our watchmakers use Swiss parts. These components, whenever possible, come from the manufacturer. Sometimes our master watchmakers fabricate and refurbish parts that are not otherwise available to us to purchase from the manufacturer and they come from other sources.
