Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Watch Repair - Miami Beach and Nationwide the Best Watch Service

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph traces its lineage back to the original Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, first introduced at the 1972 Swiss Watch Show in Basel Switzerland. Created by renowned designer Gerald Genta, whose previous work had included the Patek Philippe Ellipse and the Omega Constellation, the Royal Oak was inspired by the look of vintage divers’ helmets, and the watch case design with its distinctive case screws, was patented by Genta in 1973. Gerald Genta would go on to design the Patek Philippe Nautilus, the IWC Ingenieur, and the Cartier Pasha de Cartier. Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak Offshore in 1993, as a tribute to the 20th Anniversary of the Royal Oak. Its 42mm diameter and 15mm thickness, large compared to most watches at the time, caused it to be nicknamed “The Beast”. The Royal Oak Offshore continues to be a popular design, Audemars Piguet has produced numerous special limited edition models featuring actors, athletes, famous luxury shopping destinations, etc. Arnold Schwarzenegger, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neil, and Jay-Z, among many others, have had their own special edition AP Royal Oak Offshore models.
