Super Bowl LIV is around the corner (Sunday, February 2 in case you forgot), where the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will battle it out for victory at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Kick-off is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM CT / 3:30 PM PT. Along with what is expected to be an intense game, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are slated to perform at the halftime show and Demi Lovato will sing the national anthem; Super Bowl 2020 is gearing up to be an entertainment extravaganza! To pass the time until Super Bowl Sunday, we set up our own matchup in a game we like to call, 49ers vs. Chiefs: The Luxury Watches Of Top NFL Players.

What Watches Do The San Francisco 49ers Players Wear?

When defensive end Nick Bosa, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, signed his official contract with the 49ers, we couldn’t help but notice the stainless steel Rolex Submariner on his wrist. He’s had an impressive debut year with the 49ers, not only named the 2019 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year by fan vote but also NFL Rookie of the Year and Defensive Rookie of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America.

Fellow rookie teammate, wide receiver Deebo Samuel, has also emerged as one of the 49ers’ top talents. The South Carolina alum flaunts his fashion choices often on Instagram, usually accompanied by a full diamond Audemars Piguet Royal Oak on his wrist.

Despite tearing his pectoral muscle in Week 8, linebacker Kwon Alexander bounced back quickly and head coach Kyle Shanahan deemed him “good to go” for Super Bowl LIV. And just like his teammate Deebo Samuel, Kwon Alexander also wears a diamond-paved Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch.

Drafted by the 49ers in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Joe Staley is described as the heart and soul of the team by his teammates. We’ve spotted the offensive lineman rotate through a few different watches over the year, including a gold Rolex President, a Panerai Submersible, and a Breitling Superocean.

What Watches Do The Kansas City Cheifs Players Wear?

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes may have begun his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017 as backup to Alex Smith, but once he was named starting quarterback the following season, he won the 2018 MVP award thanks to his explosive performance. And what watch does the Chief’s QB like to wear? It seems that Patrick Mahomes is a Rolex guy, rotating between a rose gold Daytona and a stainless steel Yacht-Master II.

KC Chief tight end Travis Kelce currently holds the NFL record for most seasons with 1,000 yards receiving by a tight end and he’s recognized as one of the league’s best. Aside from football, Travis Kelce also clearly enjoys fashion (regularly making the Sports Illustrated’s annual “Fashionable 50” list) and often pairs his outfits with a classic yellow gold Rolex Day-Date President watch.

We can spot a watch enthusiast a mile away and offensive tackle Mitchell Schwartz is without a doubt a fan of fine timepieces. As one of the highest-paid right tackles in the NFL, Mitchell Schwartz can treat himself to some fantastic luxury watches and judging by a picture of a watch roll he posted on Instagram, he does just that. Although he shielded his watches for the pic, the Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Vacheron Overseas Chronograph, and the Rolex Sky-Dweller are instantly recognizable peeking from under the leather covers.

So, if you were to judge the watch choices of these NFL players from the 49ers and the Chiefs, who has the winning hand?
