IWC Watch Repair and Service | Gray & Sons

IWC combines American history with Swiss fine watchmaking history in a unique way. Originally established by an American from Boston, the International Watch Company was founded not in western Switzerland, the traditional home of Swiss watchmaking, but in Schaffhausen in eastern Switzerland. IWC is currently part of the Richemont Group, along with A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more.

Along with owning a fine IWC watch comes the privilege of caring for this fine Swiss timepiece. The American Association of Watch and Clock Collectors recommends a complete service for mechanical watches every three to five years, to prolong the life and accuracy of the movement. This overhaul service also gives a watchmaker the opportunity to examine all of the individual parts for wear, to replace gaskets as needed, to ensure water resistance, and to polish and detail the case and bracelet. This work ensures that the watch looks and functions like new. The performance of all IWC watches serviced and repaired by Gray & Sons’ team of Swiss-trained Master watchmakers are guaranteed for a full year.

Located in the Miami Beach area, Gray & Sons Jewelers is an independent watch repair service center with over 150 years of combined watch repair experience. IWC repairs are carried out using authentic tools and parts whenever possible. Gray & Sons can repair watches from all fine Swiss luxury brands.

Our IWC Watch Repair Process

Every one of our IWC watches we take in has been meticulously restored to perfection by our IWC watch repair specialists, to ensure years of faithful service with normal care and maintenance. First, each IWC watch goes through our rigorous 86-step inspection and restoration process. We are so confident in the quality of the timepieces we sell that we proudly offer our exclusive 12-month warranty on all watches. After being fully restored, all IWC watch cases and bracelets are finely polished to remove any surface scratches and to restore each piece to its original luster. When a IWC watch leaves Gray & Sons (whether the watch is 5, 10, 20 or even 50 years old) it is in pristine condition.
