Vacheron Constantin was founded in 1755 in Geneva Switzerland and is now a part of the Richemont Group. Vacheron has revolutionized luxury timepieces since Richemont’s take over in 1996. Today, Vacheron has one of the most recognizable models in all the watchmaking world, The Overseas Chronograph. With its distinguished bracelet, incredibly crafted pushers and a dial that is second to none, this incredible timepiece shows just how elegant sporty can be, and since 2003 they have been spoken about in the same respect as Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet when it comes to quality and craftsmanship. Throughout history some of the most recognizable names to wear these incredible timepieces are Napoleon Bonaparte, President Harry Truman and even King Edward VIII. This incredible brand has seen historical events through time and have created history direct from their Geneva headquarters, It is our pleasure to service and maintain these incredible timepieces.
When you own a Vacheron Constantin watch you are owning a part of watch making history, a history that goes back to 1735 when this watch manufacturer was first established. Along with owning a fine Vacheron watch comes the responsibility to caring for this fine Swiss watch. The recommendation by the American Association of Watch and Clock Collectors is to have your mechanical watch overhauled every 3 to 5 years. This is because just like in a fine car the oils that keep all of the moving parts working smoothly and seamlessly needs to be changed periodically. For a watch with exceptional reliability and precision this is a must. This overhaul service also gives a watchmaker the opportunity to examine all of the individual parts for wear, to replace gaskets as needed to ensure water resistance and to polish and detail the case and bracelet. This work ensures that the watch not only looks like new again but functions like new. All of the Vacheron Constantin watches repair are serviced and repaired by Gray & Sons’ team of Swiss-trained Master watchmakers is guaranteed for a full year.
